In the morning

  1. Every morning, gently wake up your skin with a deep cleansing. Then invigorate it with a toner, patting your face with a cotton wool pad.

  • Protect yourself and take action against sun

    Sun exposure can lead to the production of free radicals and can cause cell damage, two phenomena responsible for the appearance of wrinkles.

    If your skin is well protected all year round, the cell structure will change less rapidly and your skin will remain smooth and supple for longer.

    So, combat sun-ageing by protecting your face all year round with an appropriate sun protection factor of at least 30, not only during summertime but also on sunny days in autumn, winter, and spring.

  • Prioritize fruits and vegetables

    In summer, rely on red fruits, as they promote cell renewal. Blackberries, gooseberries, raspberries will become your friends!

    In winter, rely on carrots, rich in vitamin A, which also have a regenerative action.

    For example, eat them grated with lemon vinaigrette for the anti-oxidant effect of this citrus fruit, and rapeseed oil for its good fatty acids which make the skin more supple and elastic.

  • Do what it takes to have a better sleep

    Getting enough sleep promotes the renewal of skin cells.  If you have trouble sleeping, avoid:

    • Anything that prevents the natural lowering of your body temperature, important to fall asleep: sports activities less than 3 hours before going to bed, taking showers that are too hot and temperatures that are too high (set the thermostat of your heater at 19°C)
    • Drinking coffee after 4pm: the stimulating effect of caffeine lasts no less than 6 hours;
    • All screens: the blue light screens emit inhibits the production of melatonin, also called the ‘sleeping hormone’
